The Assistant Buyer is responsible for assisting the (Sr.)Buyer in developing the assortment management and delivering product that is tendency-relevant and has a strong price-value for their assigned categories, keeping a pulse on latest trends, influencers, aspirational and competitive landscape for their categories, maintaining potent relationships with vendor community through sample organization.

What Youll Exercise

  • Assistance Buyers and Senior Buyers in Assortment planning and sales analysis
  • Run reporting and update all systems necessary to maintain dept role
  • Maintain Buy Sheets to match On Order
  • Watch new samples/vendors to recommend products to exist sold on Lulus.com
  • Attend all internal business and creative meetings with the knowledge to speak on corresponding categories
  • Nourish vendor meetings as needed
  • Attend fittings for respective categories and maintain any notes in the Develop PP doc
  • Execution of promotions as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Track and maintain all samples for corresponding category

What Youll Need

  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent relevant feel
  • 1-2 years of relevant retail buying feel
  • Professional person, positive attitude
  • Sense of urgency, highly detailed, and experience in meeting deadlines
  • First-class advice; written, oral and grouping facilitation
  • Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors, and managers at all times
